The Raptor Strikes Again!

My man Chris Bosh is single-handedly smoking the Nuggets right now!
(Well, we’re only 1 point ahead at this point, but still).

32 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 assist with 27 minutes played!

But the Nuggets are all contributing point wise so the Heat will have to stay on their toes to win this one but I know we can do it!

We just let New York win because we felt bad…too soon? … Maybe.

I’m glad Iguodala gets to shine on the Nuggets though. It’s going to be an interesting season for the Nuggets this year.

Sad News?

The Bobcats are doing better than the Lakers.

Worse opening tip off in 45 year history for the Lakers? Mark says things will get better and that when Steve Nash comes back that the Lakers will be a good team but somehow I highly doubt that. To lose against the Clippers was a low blow, especially for me since the Clippers are the #2 team for LA. Psh. Clippers suck. If Blake Griffin gets most improved player of the year…I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life. But, that’s never going to happen so I have nothing to worry about.

And here’s what I was talking about earlier with Rasheed. Glad to see him back.

Stupid NBA TV/League Pass bullshit. Just let me watch some games on my TV! I’ve had enough college football for today.

Law and Order: SVU x NBA

My two favorite things coming together! I thought I was dreaming when I saw Chris Bosh on this episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit… I looked it up and although it’s this season it aired late last year. Why was I the last to hear about this? Apparently it was during the lockout when these guys still needed work. I mean, they fit in with the episode but I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

Oh and Carmelo is in it too.

Season 13, Episode 2, “Personal Fouls”. Look it up.

Here’s a Behind the Scenes look:

and the Promo they used on TV:

Boy was it a weird lockout season. Some went to play basketball overseas, some got jobs at furniture stores while others decided to play basketball stars on Law and Order…hmmmmm…hahahaha.

Now it’s time for me to finish watching the episode! Yay!

Heat for the WIN! Boom Shaka Laka!

Today’s game was AMAZING!

I was only able to catch the 2nd half since HD ABC wouldn’t play at the TV at work which kinda majorly sucked. But it happens that way sometimes. These jerks who ordered food came to watch the game so I was kind of happy that it wasn’t playing on the TV. Karma’s a bitch.

But my biggest thought for today is WHAT IS GOING ON WITH WADE TONIGHT? 5 Turnovers is NOT OKAY. Stop being pressured into a turnover, why didn’t anyone have his back? So many needless bad passes and hesitations by Wade. We need to work on that yeah?

And for Chris Bosh, it’s just like Mark said, you’re a big man so finish the game! A foul doesn’t mean you can just throw up the ball all willy nilly! Take it to the hoop! But amazing job on those block shots! You’re a beast!

And Lebron needs to take those shots when he’s open. You don’t need to be constantly passing the ball to another player. YOU are the key player of this team. Yes team work is important but when you are wide open, take the shot. It wouldn’t hurt to take an open 3 or to go closer for an easy shot. I’m really proud you made all your free throws in Game 2 and missed only 2 today! Such a big improvement from previous games.

And you need to spread out from each other to break up the Thunder defense! When you guys are too close to each other it allows people like Westbrook and Fisher to guard more than one player at a time which is a big NO NO.

Who else was surprised by KD’s 5 personal fouls today? I sure was. For a second I thought he might actually foul out of a game. He should’ve or should I say, almost, fouled out Game 2. He’s been cutting it close. And for those of you who missed it, (like I did because I was at a farewell dinner), here it is:

Whether you think it was a blocking or a charging foul, it is what it is and it’s already over and done with.

What’s really surprising is how consistent the Heat have become with free throws while the Thunder, who are the #1 free throw scoring team during the regular season, is suffering so much from missed free throws which end up becoming missed opportunities.

And I’ll post some highlights from tonight’s game as well.

Udonis Haslem DENYING Derek Fisher’s attempt at the rim!

Dunk by Wade assist by Chalmers!

Heat up 2-1! BRING IT ON THUNDER! If the Heat could somehow magically win all 3 at home this series would be set!

Stop being such a bitch Chalmers

Workout Guide for the Heat before the Finals

-Lebron needs to work on his free throws.
He’s missed WAY too many for comfort.

-Mario Chalmers needs to learn to pass to other (more talented) players.

-He (Chalmers) also needs to not shoot (like ever).

Did you hear Jeff when he said that Mario Chalmers gets eyes rolled at him more than anyone else. Hahaha.

Whatever Dude. Hahaha.

Were you watching when Lebon just looks at Chalmers and goes, “PASS TO ME!!!!!”

Watch this!

Wade and Lebron just OWN that court!

Bosh has been making a hell of a comeback! Two 3 pointers! AW YEAH! Make that Three 3 pointers!

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! NO! It’s Chris Bosh!

All Heat fans have their fingers crossed hoping that the Raptor will be good and ready to play in tonight’s Game 5 against the Boston Celtics!

We’ve missed you Chris Bosh and we can’t wait to have you back! The boys need you!

Who cares if the Celtics say that they’re ready for Bosh. We’re ready for the Celtics!

Bosh went down with a strained abdominal muscle during Game 1 with the Indiana Pacers but the team believes that he is ready to come back. They say that he has been ready for some time but to make sure that he would be at his best when he returns they have been resting him up till now.

And for those of you who aren’t caught up as to what happened, here it is:

Spoelstra says it’s a ‘Game Time Decision’ so we’ll just have to sacrifice a few more virgins and do a couple more rain dances and everything should be good to go. JK.

Let’s go HEAT!

I get to watch the Playoffs at work

How could anyone hate Chris Bosh when he is just so hilarious!

Everyone should love the Raptor!

RAWR!

Just watch him slowly dominate the screen while Lebron is having his little after game interview.

And I am so glad that the Pacers were able to massacre the Magic today.

Also surprised at how the Jazz just weren’t able to keep up with the Spurs today. Losing by 31 points IS pretty severe.

The Spurs had 7 players scoring in the double digits today which is pretty impressive. The Jazz just had an overall horrible shooting percentage today which just made it easier for the Spurs to clinch the win today.

And the Grizzlies need to keep up the lead through the 3rd till the end of the 4th to win it. This series might end up going all 7 games at the rate its at now.

You know we’re all just joshin you Lebron

Trust me, we know that your situation is not the same as Dwight Howard’s, Carmelo Antony’s, Chris Paul’s or Peyton Manning’s. You’ve just become a cultural icon and people link leaving a team to you although what these players are doing is not directly related or similar to what you had to do when you decided to leave Cleveland. It’s become the new cultural euphemism that people link with sports and the movement of players. For people who seriously think that all of these scenarios are EXACTLY the same, they are very misinformed and oblivious to what is ACTUALLY happening in the sports world.

We know that you neither forced a trade while you were under your contract like Antony or Paul and that you also did not threaten to leave your team during the active season like Howard has done.

People become blind to the true meanings behind actions and instead stereotype seemingly similar actions in order to have a chance at relating to other people and the ideas that they are discussing. It has nothing to do with you as a player or as an individual. Haters are always going to hate. And for those of you who read my blog know that I made that “To pull a Lebron” definition up just to have fun. I mean he’s my #1 favorite player in the NBA. Haha.

He gave Cleveland 7 years of his NBA life and career. It is not his fault that the team did not build a team around him for that long. He carried the whole team to the finals. When I talk to Lebron haters they say that he gave up during the finals but how could you say that about someone? Giving up AT the NBA FINALS? After they’ve worked years to get there? That’s a bunch of bullshit.

He was an unrestricted free agent. He had no obligation to fulfill to the Cavaliers. We can’t all be like Steve Nash and stay with the same team for life.

It’s just like what Dwyane Wade said, “Think what you want to think, Loyalty means damned if you do, damned if you don’t — new definition of loyalty in the world. There’s going to be good things said about you, there’s going to be bad things said about you, no matter what you do.”

Lebron commented on the situation by saying, “”I understand that every time someone has an opportunity to leave or go, my name will come up. It’s been guys that have stayed and guys that have left before me, and there will be guys that stay with their team and leave their team after me”.

And that’s so true. Aw. Everyone just secretly likes Lebron, that’s why we just have to keep talking about him. Who could hate this?

(Photo taken from another blog I was reading).

Lebron, Wade, Bosh. They all still look the same!

WE LOVE YOU LEBRON!
