There IS a God!

NBA: Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Clippers

And how do I know that? You may ask.

I know because the Clippers have lost 3 consecutive games in a row.

Boy is it a good day to be a Lakers fan.

We’re FINALLY winning for once.

And we’re about to beat the Utah Jazz.

Although I must admit, Dwight Howard looks like someone from Shakespearean times.

LALtop12313

Look at his legs. He’s wearing, what seem to be, white tights.

Yes, they are athletic wear for his bull shit injuries or what have you but it’s still funny to see him hobbling around court looking like a jester of some sort.

But yes anyways, the Clippers have lost to the:

Golden State Warriors on the 21st,

Oklahoma City Thunder on the 22nd,

and the

Phoenix Suns on the 24th.

Boy has it been an awesome week.

Now we just need the Trailblazers to kick some serious Slop City ass and THIS girl will be ALL smiles!

For the GSW game all their shooting percentages were pretty low. They were missing a lot of 3’s and free throw shots.

Yes Chris Paul didn’t play against the Thunder but I doubt they would have won anyways.

And with Chris Paul still out for the Suns game, scores (and I’m guessing morale) just plummeted into the red zone. They’re field goal attempts and 3 point shots only averaged around 33-39%.

But I’m not complaining.

Every time Blake Griffin misses a free throw, an angel gets his wings.

I’ve been worried because I haven’t seen as many air balls from him but with only 2 out of 8 free throws made on Thursday, I don’t think I have much to be worried about anymore.

One little side note before I go though,

We were watching “Family Game Night” on TV because we had left the TV on the HUB channel and one of the prizes was for tickets to a Clippers game and the TV announcer introduced the prize as,

“You can win an L.A. Clippers VIP Experience! Where you can see such stars such as Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and…

LAMAR ODOM!”

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I swear that is what she said!

It was hilarious. It made my day, THAT’S for sure.

Ah~

NBA commercial of the day

Don’t like Chris Paul but it’s pretty funny to see Mike Conley’s reaction when CP disappears into thin air.

Why Magic and Nash are eating lunch together?

Probably because Magic Johnson was psyched to see the Lakers acquire Steve Nash.

Mark and I weren’t sure why Steve Nash didn’t keep his old number (13) but I totally forgot that was Wilt Chamberlain’s number.

Do you guys remember why Nash chose 10? He said it’s because it’s the number of people on a soccer team.

Go figure Steve Nash is all about teamwork. Yay.

Now…how do we get rid of Dwight Howard…THAT’S the real question…

WHY ARE THEY WATCHING A CLIPPERS GAME?

Bleh.

The Clips travel their way to another bullshit play

It’s not even halftime yet and the Clippers have been traveling the shit out of this game and most of them have been getting away with it too, which I say is total bull honkey!

Chris Paul took 3 whole steps before he passed that ball to Bitch Griffin and not only did they fail to call the travel but they counted the basket that Griffin made after such an illegal pass.

Total horse shit!

The Grizzlies still got this though! I believe in you guys!

Lakers & Lebron post coming up soon!

Oh who’s lost 3 games in a row? That’s right THE CLIPPERS!

New LA Team MY ASS!

Hands too close to the crotch bro. Haha.

It sucks having a cold and losing my voice but do you know what IS awesome? The Clippers dropping down to 6th in the Western Conference.

They’ve already lost 9 out of 15 games this month. Ouch.

Chris Paul even lost at his first game home in New Orleans since the trade. That must be painful.

The Hornets had 20 turnovers to the Clippers 11 but what saved them was their high shooting percentages. The Hornets had 5 team members droppin down double digits to the Clippers measly 3. Chris Paul was shooting 5 out of 14 yesterday AND he had 5 personal fouls. Nick Young played more minutes last night at around 30 minutes but he still has a lot to work on. Young made 3 rebounds, 7 points but also had 3 personal fouls and 3 turnovers. Too bad the Clippers don’t have anyone else to use as a starter. Oh well. Not my problem.

But let’s talk about Chris Kaman! He was on FIRE last night against his old teammate! 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 block shots and 20 points! He did have 7 turnovers though which he needs to work on.

Blake the highlight Griffin made some slam dunks like normal but I doubt that’s going to get the Clippers very far. One thing it WILL help is the Obese children of America…hmmm $100 to help fight obesity. How would they use that money anyways? Oh yeah…just use that money to pay the people up top and just stop the kids from eating. SMART PLAN! Haha. I’m just jokin. He does donate money but again, THAT does not make him a GREAT player. There were some Clippers in where I work. Too bad I didn’t care enough to do anything about it.

Did I mention Samuel L Jackson was the Guest PA announcer for last night’s game? Hahaha! We should have Jack do all of the PAs for the Lakers!

And AGAIN, CP3 has been performing at 1/5th of his normal capacity. Hahaha. Maybe I should change it to CP0.20! Woo! Randy Foye didn’t help either last night by attempting to shoot 8 3 pointers and only making 1 of them. FAIL. The Clippers shooting percentages have been HORRIBLE lately. Averaging in the mid 30% percentile for Field Goals Made compared to Attempted is really hitting them hard. And Griffin’s been missing way too many easy points by throwing more air balls.

You know we’re all just joshin you Lebron

Trust me, we know that your situation is not the same as Dwight Howard’s, Carmelo Antony’s, Chris Paul’s or Peyton Manning’s. You’ve just become a cultural icon and people link leaving a team to you although what these players are doing is not directly related or similar to what you had to do when you decided to leave Cleveland. It’s become the new cultural euphemism that people link with sports and the movement of players. For people who seriously think that all of these scenarios are EXACTLY the same, they are very misinformed and oblivious to what is ACTUALLY happening in the sports world.

We know that you neither forced a trade while you were under your contract like Antony or Paul and that you also did not threaten to leave your team during the active season like Howard has done.

People become blind to the true meanings behind actions and instead stereotype seemingly similar actions in order to have a chance at relating to other people and the ideas that they are discussing. It has nothing to do with you as a player or as an individual. Haters are always going to hate. And for those of you who read my blog know that I made that “To pull a Lebron” definition up just to have fun. I mean he’s my #1 favorite player in the NBA. Haha.

He gave Cleveland 7 years of his NBA life and career. It is not his fault that the team did not build a team around him for that long. He carried the whole team to the finals. When I talk to Lebron haters they say that he gave up during the finals but how could you say that about someone? Giving up AT the NBA FINALS? After they’ve worked years to get there? That’s a bunch of bullshit.

He was an unrestricted free agent. He had no obligation to fulfill to the Cavaliers. We can’t all be like Steve Nash and stay with the same team for life.

It’s just like what Dwyane Wade said, “Think what you want to think, Loyalty means damned if you do, damned if you don’t — new definition of loyalty in the world. There’s going to be good things said about you, there’s going to be bad things said about you, no matter what you do.”

Lebron commented on the situation by saying, “”I understand that every time someone has an opportunity to leave or go, my name will come up. It’s been guys that have stayed and guys that have left before me, and there will be guys that stay with their team and leave their team after me”.

And that’s so true. Aw. Everyone just secretly likes Lebron, that’s why we just have to keep talking about him. Who could hate this?

(Photo taken from another blog I was reading).

Lebron, Wade, Bosh. They all still look the same!

WE LOVE YOU LEBRON!

CP3? Nah~ It’s more like CP0 for 2

I’m studying for my finals tomorrow but I got a little restless so I thought I’d see what’s happening with the Clippers – Pistons game and the Clippers are EATING DIRT!

Not only is Blake Griffin diving head first into the crowd messing shit up the whole team is playing below par.

Rude. Hahahaha.

End of the 3rd Quarter stats

Clippers
FGM-A = 42.1%
3PM-A = 10.0%
FTM-A = 72.7%

They’ve only made 1 out of 10 3 point attempts AND it was made by Mo Williams! Oh yeah! Mo’s still got it! (By the way, I can’t diss Mo because I’ve watched him for years playing next to Lebron…he doesn’t deserve to be on the bench!)

I think Young needs some more practice with his team before he can be of any real help to them. He’s made 1 out of 6 shots, 1 out of 7 if you count the 3 pointer he missed. Then again…he’s made just as many points as all the starters have while playing half the time so maybe not. At least SOMEONE can make all their free throws… *ahem* Not like I really care though.

The more the clippers lose the better!

And the Hawks beat the Cavs today.

I think Dwight Howard just wants a better team

Instead of looking to move anywhere Dwight Howard just wants certain people to come to HIS team.

Hmmm…All I’ve been seeing and hearing is

Dwight Howard wants to play with (blank).

Dwight Howard scouting out (blank).

So on and so forth. Does that mean he thinks his team can get someone without him leaving?

So who does Dwight Howard want to play with? Here’s the list:

1. Monta Ellis

The Warriors will give up Monta Ellis for DH but they won’t let him go just because DH wants to play with him. And the Warriors don’t really want anyone from the Magic.

2. Steve Nash

DH wants his team to GET ON getting Steve Nash. If they do then DH will probably resign during the summer and become a free agent in 2013 when most of the other guys he wants to play with will become free as well. The only thing is, Steve Nash isn’t going anywhere. The Suns aren’t going to let him go unless he ASKS to be traded and Nash has already made it clear that he wants to play out his career as a Sun. Nash said he would understand if the Suns would want to move him around but from what I understand there’s a mutual agreement that they’re going to hang tight with each other. I guess Steve Nash will just go his career without a ring. Oh well. No skin off my back.

3. Chris Paul

Not going to happen this season. That’s for sure. The Clippers aren’t going to let go of CP3 or Griffin as of now. Plus they’d be paying up the wazoo if they even entertained the idea of getting DH. Next.

4. Andre Iguodala

Iguodala wants DH to come to the Magic, not the other way around. He’s just got to convince him to come play for the Sixers. That seems unlikely though. Next.

5. Josh Smith

They grew up together. What can you say? How long? Since pre-school, apparently they liked the same girl. Hahaha. Same AAU team as teenagers and now battling it out on the court. Cute huh? But the Celtics have been eyeing Josh Smith HARD. Even enough to give up Kevin Garnett. Who knows if that is going to happen but that’s what it’s looking like now. If the Magic really want to keep Howard maybe they can make this happen? Would the Hawks want any of the Magic Forwards? Uh….Ryan Anderson? Hedo Turkoglu? I don’t know if the Hawks would consider that though…

6. Deron Williams

The Nets are trying to trade Brook Lopez for DH so Williams will sign with them again but like all these trades, they are all so lopsided. What is Orlando going to do with JUST Brook Lopez. It seems like you’d need both of them to play. Like the whole Amare+Nash combo. Man, that was great. Those poor guys are just not the same now…nor will they ever be again! Oh Well…

And then there’s the rumor that both Williams and DH might be on the Mavs next season but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves JUST yet.

But in reality are the Magic going to get a fair trade if Howard decides to leave? Probably not. No team or player wants to leave their team without getting another star to replace them. That’s just how it is. And I don’t know how much teams are willing to give up for JUST DH.

And Williams and DH would be paid a LOT less if they were to both go to the Mavs as free agents this summer. Like I said yesterday it’s either the game or the money. If you’re in a place where you get both, you’re one lucky son of a gun. I’ll give you that much.

7. Anthony Morrow

Either the Magic are being VERY secretive about their offers to other teams or they’re stupid and haven’t made any. If DH wants new team players, you get him new team players or he’s going to be gone like Nelson’s dad in search of a pack of cigarettes.

Do you know who IS interested in Morrow? The Timberwolves. But the Nets said they’re not going to move him. The Loserwolves do need a better 3 point shooter but I guess they’re going to have to look elsewhere, just like the Magic. NEXT.

8. Stephen Jackson

In a perfect world Jackson would be playing for…no it’s not the Magic but the Nets. He wants to team up with Williams and Howard to win a championship title! Too bad neither the Nets nor the Magic want him. He’d be making $10 mil next year and that is NOT something they are in search of. Both Williams and Howard would love to play with Jackson but even though they say “Yes, Yes!” their teams say “No, No!”.

Who in the world could the Magic get to make DH happy?

I have no clue.
